Plate V of "Opar Press Presents Burroughs Artist Frank Frazetta" showcases artwork that has been acclaimed by critics as some of Frazetta's finest ink work. This plate is part of the pioneering Frank Frazetta Portfolio, released five years prior to the Middle Earth's Frank Frazetta Portfolio. The portfolio comprised eight double-sided 11x15 inch plates, presenting a collection of 16 captivating black and white Frazetta illustrations. Published in 1968, this portfolio was brought to fruition by Camille Cazedessus, Jr., the esteemed publisher of the longstanding Edgar Rice Burroughs fanzine ERB-dom, which later transformed into The Fantasy Collector (and subsequently The Fantastic Collector) and Pulpdom.
